Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,
We’ve had a busy few months here at Digital Careers engaging with parents, teachers and students alike. We’ve successfully exhibited at the VCE & Careers Expo at Caulfield Racecourse, WRICA at the Werribee Learning Centre, Big Day In at RMIT and at the Western Victorian Career Expo in Longernong. We were also invited to exhibit and share our love for technology at the Tertiary Studies and Careers Expo and Big Day In in Adelaide. It is now safe to say that the expo season has now finished, which means we can concentrate on other events such as the Young ICT Explorers Competition (see below for details).
We hope we can continue to inspire, engage and inform you with helpful links, events and resources to assist with the Digital Technologies curriculum. We’re also keen to hear what great things schools and students are doing in the technology space and also how Industry can help. Please email Shannon.email@example.com with your initiatives and ideas!
Finally, for all those going on school holidays shortly, we wish you a wonderful well deserved break!

Digital Careers contributes to increasing the number and quality of ICT graduates in Australia while building a robust and sustainable ICT capability for the future digital economy. Operating as a collaborative initiative of industry, research, primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions (universities and TAFE), and government, Digital Careers is focused on reducing the critical shortage of Australian ICT professionals by raising awareness and interest in ICT careers and growing and diversifying the pool of tertiary students preparing for a career in the ICT industry.
